This Week In NYC
This Week In NYC
The city has not yet given up on summer. This week, several streets will be closed to cars for NYC Summer Streets, opening them to pedestrians and cyclists. It is a temporary, and welcome, reprieve from traffic.
Out of Doors
The season for watching films outside continues. Options are available across the city.
- Paramount+ Movie Nights take place on the lawn in Bryant Park.
- Movies with a View is at Brooklyn Bridge Park, with the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop.
- Seaport Cinema shows films on the Heineken Riverdeck at Pier 17.
Indoors and Otherwise
At MoMA PS1, the sprawling exhibition “Greater New York 2026” closes this week. It is a survey of what artists in the city are currently making. See it before it is gone.
