Liqueur
Mister Katz’s Rock & Rye
A cocktail in a bottle. The unpretentious one.

The back-room pour. Rock & Rye was the original ready-made drink — rye sweetened with rock candy and steeped with fruit, sold by the saloon for whatever ailed you. Ours revives the recipe without the patent-medicine claims. Pour it neat, over ice, or into anything that needs softening.

The Story
Mister Katz grew up on the B&O railroad, spitting distance from the old Hannisville Distillery — in the days before Prohibition, when an evening's treat was Rock & Rye on the back bar of every noteworthy establishment. A century later, ours marries youthful rye whiskey and rock candy sugar with sour cherries, cinnamon, and a wisp of citrus. We kept the recipe and dropped the medical claims.
