A holiday party at Jaywalker, a working cocktail bar and distillery in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Company holiday parties · Bushwick

Not the hotel ballroom

Throw the company holiday party in a working Brooklyn distillery — rye and gin made on site, cocktails by Jane Danger and Jamie Gordon, and a room with an actual pulse. Book early; December fills fast.

A holiday party people show up to

The annual party is the one event the whole company judges you on. A buyout of a design-forward bar and distillery — brutalist gray, peel-orange booths, Bernadette the gin still behind glass — reads better than a banquet hall and costs less than you’d think, especially on a weekday. Q4 dates go early, so lock yours now.

Everything a holiday party needs

The whole room

Up to 370

Seated dinner or standing reception, DJ- and live-music-ready, with big screens and a real sound system.

The hook

A tasting or class

Open with a guided rye + gin tasting, or a cocktail class — the icebreaker that isn’t forced fun.

The favor

Custom bottles

Send everyone home with a custom-label bottle from the distillery. No loft can do that.

The part a loft can’t copy

Every booking can add the distillery itself. This is the difference-maker, and the reason people remember the night — priced per guest, on top of the bar.

Hands-on

Cocktail class

Your group builds Martinis and Manhattans behind the bar with our team — a team-builder that actually ends with a drink you made.

Guided

Rye & gin tasting

A led tasting through the New York Distilling range — Jaywalk Rye, Dorothy Parker Gin, Perry’s Tot — poured feet from where it’s made.

Behind the glass

Distillery tour

A walk through the working distillery and the story of the 17th-century Horton rye revived over thirteen harvests. Add it to any event.

Recurring

Private barrel select

Your company picks a cask, then comes back to bottle it with custom labels — a reason to return, and favors no one else can hand out.

Good to know

How many people can you hold?

Up to 370 for a full buyout, and comfortably down to an intimate 30 in a reserved area. The room adapts to seated dinners or standing receptions.

What does it cost?

We work on a food-and-beverage minimum spend, tiered by space, day, and season. Monday–Wednesday is our best value, since the bar is otherwise dark. Send an inquiry and we’ll quote your date.

Can we bring outside catering?

The bar is ours; food is flexible — we’ll talk through in-house snacks, a guest-chef pop-up, or your own caterer — whatever the night calls for.

Is there AV and sound?

Yes — a proper sound system and big screens, DJ- and live-music-ready. There’s a dedicated performance space for panels, talks, and podcast recordings.

Where are you, and how do people get there?

573 Johnson Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11237 — Bushwick / East Williamsburg, a short walk from the L train at Jefferson St. Walkable from the agencies, studios, and offices nearby.

Do you do shoots?

Yes. Film, photo, and commercial shoots rent the room — a design-forward working bar and distillery, camera-ready.
