Age & identification
- Jaywalker is a 21-and-over establishment. This website is intended for adults of legal drinking age.
- Valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry and for the purchase of alcohol — no exceptions.
Responsible service
- Please drink responsibly. Our staff are trained in responsible alcohol service and may decline service at their discretion, as New York law requires of us.
- We will gladly call you a car. Never drive impaired.
- Health notice: alcoholic beverages should not be consumed during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects.
In the room
- No smoking or vaping anywhere inside, per the NYC Smoke-Free Air Act.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or service and to remove anyone whose behavior puts staff or guests at risk. Harassment of any kind isn’t tolerated — toward anyone, by anyone.
- Outside alcohol can’t come in; our bottles can’t leave open. Sealed retail bottle purchases are handled per New York State license rules.
- Bags may be checked at the door at security’s discretion.
- Events may be photographed or filmed for our channels; tell a member of staff if you’d rather not appear.
Reservations & private events
- Events are first come, first served — no reservations, no cover. High-demand nights fill; arrive early.
